Hellllloooo JULY!

It's here. 

 Summer is finally HERE.

and the kids are LOVING IT.

Just before the Holiday weekend we had to say good-bye to our Amazing neighbors.

We have known them for 4 years, and spent many an afternoon enjoying each others company.   

I'll miss this.....

In their move, we inherited O and Leo's blow up pool......

Which was a perfect way to kick off our 4th of July weekend!

We decided to share the fun, and invite Ayden over to play

Maddie is a fan of Ayden....

Saturday Morning Jack and Daddy went to home depot and did their once a month workshop.  Jack had such a good time.  

Here is his coaster set. 

He was VERY excited to show me the final product when he got home.

That same day celebrated Uncle Joe getting his Degree!

Maddie enjoyed dessert

And Jack enjoyed playing Red-Rover-Red-Rover

with all the kids.

That night we were invited to Ayden's house for dinner to try out his water toys

Slip and Slide!

Uncle Ben, Aunt Brit and Maddie's BFF Lynne came over too

Uncle Ben HAD to make sure the Slide was safe for the kids.....

Maddie got some more hug time in...

and the ladies enjoyed lots of conversation

We talked a lot about this bump.

Ayden's Mom Janice is due 12/12/11 with baby #2...

And it's a GIRL!  I can't wait to meet this baby!

Maddie and Jack both woke up VERY early on the Fourth ready for some fun

What better place to spend a Hot July Holiday.....

then Waterworld!!

You may think we were crazy to go to a waterpark, on a holiday, on one of the hottest days of the year.

But I gotta say...

We did it right.

We were VIP.

We had a Cabana, complete with table service and lots and lots of shade.

Which was PERFECT for the little ones.

Bo came and brought the boys!

Madeline fell in love with Gabe INSTANTLY.

She would not leave his side the whole day.

Jack has LOTS and LOTS of water time, and loved every second of it. 

Maddie wore herself out...

So did Gabe... (awww...baby...)

We got to Waterworld when they opened at 10:30....And we made it till 3:30.

5 hours. 

4 kids

3 meltdowns.

2 cat naps.

1 really good time.

I'd say we did pretty darn good. 

I may even go back...

(maybe not tomorrow....but I'd do it again)

After Waterworld, we had some BBQ.

(poor Clay....he grilled pretty much the ENTIRE weekend- he was such a good sport...He's just too good at it.  Where ever we were this weekend, there he was, Grill Side.....every meal I had this weekend was AMAZING.  He really does have the magic grill touch)

So, So Good.

Bo brought the entertainment

and Daddy and Uncle Ben did the show

I'm not gonna lie...

The crowd was easily impressed.

The boys got to join in on the fun with some poppers

and sparklers.

(the hose was running the whole time-just in case....)

Aunt Brit got her fill of baby time..

and Everyone had a great time.

Long weekend, calls for a Long post!
