Happy Birthday Kim!

Awwwwww Kim.....

Here are the Facts:

1) Kim and I have NEVER had an attractive picture captured of us together.  Not. One.

2)Kim is the whole reason I started Blogging.  My first entry was absolutely the truth.  Kim and I were talking one day and she said, "I'm thinking of starting a blog..." and I said..."Crap.  If YOU start one, I'm TOTALLY going to have to start one." (It should also be known that she is the ONLY person I could say that to, and know that I am saying it out of Love and not because I'm a Bitch.)

3) That being said: Kim is the only one I can say LOTS of things to, and she knows just what I mean and how to take it.  She accepts me.  Even if I'm snarky.

4) Speaking of Snarky.... She also keeps me in line and helps others understand my faults. 

Eat it.

5)She thinks I cook as well as Ina Garten. (That alone should make her one of my best friends)

6) She thinks I know fashion and trusts my opinion completely.

Case in point:

I was leaving the house to buy some shoes I had wanted for quite sometime.  Kim asked how much they were, handed me the exact amount and told me to buy her a pair too.  Sight unseen.  She just shrugged her shoulders and said, "If you are buying them, I know they are awesome." 

7) Kim is the greatest secret keeper I know.  And as much as it pisses off the other 5, I tell her things I won't tell anyone else.  When Clay and I were trying to get pregnant with baby#2, she was the only one of my friends I told, and when I had decided on the final runner's up for Madeline's name, she was the ONLY one I told.  And I KNOW I'm not the only one in the group that confides in her....So they can't be all that mad at me...

8) She constantly surprises the crap out of me.  My first Mother's day card I EVER received was from Kim.  She sends me text's on my kids birthdays.  I have been surfing the internet with her, pointed out something I loved and it showed at my doorstep on my next Birthday.  She is AWESOME at that type of stuff.

9) She is an amazing Mother.  When she was pregnant with Ella she was more excited than anyone I had ever met that was pregnant.  She didn't seem scared, or nervous, or worried.  Just ecstatic that an adorable baby would soon be in her arms. She is such a patient, kind, loving Mother.  Ella is one lucky girl.

And.....

10) She makes me laugh all the time.  She is one of the funniest women I have ever met.  And, she has the greatest sense of humor.  She is the most fun person to make fun of.  She just takes it, whatever the joke is that's thrown at her, she just takes it and turns it into something so much funnier than what it started out as.  It's one of her many, many talents.


She is my sounding board, my confidant, my friend.  And even though we live miles apart, as soon as I see Kiwi pop up on my cell phone, I know we will pick up right were we left off.   I love her like a sister, and wish more than anything she lived closer.

I have lots of stories I could share.... Lots of really good stories.....

But now we're Ladies in our 30's. And Mothers.....

But those who know, should feel very lucky to know...because that means you have been there for some    very good times.

Because if you're with Kim....You know it's gonna be a Good Time.
