Good Bye 2013

I have never done a year in review before, but thought that SO much happened this year that it was time.

So here it is 2013 in Pictures:

Jack turned 7 this year.
We celebrated at Super Franks in Pleasanton

I was ready for a change right around my Birthday this year
and went dark. Very, Very Dark.  I stayed a brunette for the entire year.

I turned 36 this year and celebrated with my Girls.
We went to That Bar in Danville.

Lindsey won our first Fantasy Football League.
She received her trophy at our Super Bowl Party.

Jack started Little League this year.
He had never played any sport before 2013.

Speaking of sports....
I went to my first ever spring training game!
And spent time with my favorite ladies.

Jack finished his first year of Boy Scouts!

Madeline graduated from Miss Benu's.
She started with Miss Benu when she was just under a year....

The biggest thing to happen to us in 2013
was our move to this house.
In Clovis!

Momma joined the 21st century and got an Iphone.
Since then...I have learned how to perfect the "selfie"

Also....
Momma got a Mini Van.
I know, I know...I said it would never happen...
There aren't enough words in the english language to describe my love for this car.

Along with the Move came a major life change for me.
After 13 years of working for Travelers, I put away my red shoes that matched my red umbrella and resigned.

I didn't stop working.  That's for sure!
I just joined the workforce of the SAHM.

I joined the gym!

and took up swimming.

Madeline made the move this year to a Big Girl Bed!

This year Madeline chose to go to Chuckee Cheeses for her 4th Birthday.

and we took Daddy miniature golfing for his Birthday the next day.

Daddy had a Boys Trip to the Lake at the end of Summer.

And I made some new friends.

So very blessed with the people who have embraced my and my family in this new town.

Everyone has made us feel very welcomed.

This year we went to Disneyland!

And chose our own Halloween costumes with no help from Mom.

Jack had an amazing Soccer season.  His first time playing ever!

We had a busy Thanksgiving week
And Ice Skated for the first time.

We had a wonderful Christmas Week
Everyone made their way to our new pad.
It was the first time ever we didn't have to leave home for Christmas Eve or Christmas day.

We celebrated the New Year with New Friends.

If someone had asked me last New Years what the year would look like.....I could have never dreamed of what was in store.

It was a very exciting year for the Kirby's this year.

And I know there is more to come!

I can't wait for 2014!

Christmas 2013

Christmas eve started with a trip here
I mean.... who doesn't start Christmas with a little last minute shopping

;)

while we were Christmas light searching Mrs. Claus came to visit.

And she left gifts!

(I make them do this)
;)

Jack was determined to prove Santa was real this year. So he asked Santa to sign his name this year to his note he left with Cookies and carrots for the reindeer.

Once all the kids were in bed Uncle Nick helped with the assembling this year.

Uncle Chris and Chels helped too.

There was some last minute wrapping to be completed.

t
Here's how we left the living room Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning we  were up and at em early at 7am.

Stockings first of course.

Clay and I bought each other the same card this year.  Different card shops. Weeks apart. The. Same. Card.  Hilarious.
Maddie was spoiled this year.  For. Sure.

Jack didn't know what to do with himself.

I got the Ray Bans I asked for.
Thank you Santa!

Mr. Kirby Got his favorite panties.
Thank you! Gram!
I received the Holiday plates I wanted from Pottery Barn!

Maddie and Jack loved their gifts.

Clay was excited for his gift from his parents.
Mr. Kirby spoiled me this year.

This mixer is amazing.

For. Reals.

A new Camera lens!!

Yes!!

Uncle Ben gave the gift that keeps on giving.

Facial hair!

:)

The Kids scored this year.

It's no secret they are very, very spoiled!

Mom and I enjoyed a late night Mimosa on Christmas day.

Later in the week we joined the rest of the family in a Merry Belated Christmas.

We even stayed at Aunt B's!

The next day we ended our trip at the Doctors office.  Nothing says Christmas quite like an ear infection...I mean...am  I right....or am  I right.....

Thank god for Antibiotics!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Hope you have a Healthy and Prosperous 2014!
