Girl Gone Wild

I JUST had this conversation. 

Like within the last 48 hours.

I was bragging that my kids go to bed with ease.... my ONLY issue was with Madeline...

Occasionally she likes to turn her light on and play for a bit when she goes to bed.

I have given in to this.

If she needs 10 to 20 more minutes, and she is quiet as a church mouse, what do I care?  She gets enough sleep...and the worst I have found her is dressed in almost her entire wardrobe at once and her dolls all piled up in her rocking chair.

Totally Harmless.

Until tonight.

This is what I found tonight....

she found her pretty piggy nail polish that Oma bought her.....

and decided to paint her toes....

You know.....nothin like a late night pedi...

and mani...

And while she was at it...Why not give Bitty Baby the full spa treatment?

I mean... 

Right???

God Give me Patience.

Lots and Lots of Patience.

Welcome Baby Owen!

In January one of my very close friends had a baby...

And we all decided we should fly out and Welcome him into the world properly.

So that's just what we did....

Hi Owen!

And while we were there we got to visit a bit with his Big Sister

And why not thrown in a little Spring Training too??

I mean...

When in Rome...

This was my first Spring Training game.

And I am hooked.

So relaxing.

So Warm...

So, So nice.

And those children were probably the best behaved children I have ever seen in a ball park.

LOVE our Giants.

Even though they lost.

To JAPAN.

Whatevs.  

We also did a little Wedding Plan...

June of 2035 looks promising....

I also got to meet this Mister-Mister for the first time.

Somebody's mini-me

Clearly he hated me.

The whole weekend was spent hanging out...Just talking and eating and talking and eating and Wine.

Maybe a little too much wine...

;)

Here is proof that we did clean.

Even Lindsey.

I didn't think about a group shot until 11pm on our last night together.

Can we talk about how hot my friends are?

And just for fun...

Kim you are the best!

So, so, so glad I was able to come and spend time with you.  You are a true friend and I miss you so much we when are apart.  You make me laugh, and cry and laugh some more.

Thank you for having that adorable baby and making me come see you.

You are a wonderful host, and I can't wait to come back... 

But next time...

I'll probably have a Princess in tow...

Because there is nothing like Girl time....

and it's important that these ladies learn that wise lesson young.

Two Birthday's in One!

The weekend before last we helped celebrate Emma Kate 3rd's Birthday

Laura did such a good Job!

The kids had SO much fun.

Charlie had an especially good "got-to-take-my-shirt-off-I'm-having-the-time-of-my-life" time.

This last weekend, not only did we have opening day....

But Uncle Ben turned 26.

And everybody knows....

We love us some Uncle Ben...

Opening Day 2013!

Let's go White Sox!

Saturday was opening day for Jack-man's first year of Little League.

Our League kicks off the season right....

With a Parade!

Jack was so excited he got to hold the sign.

They are SO cute!!

Jack was READY for his first game.

We really lucked out with Jack's Team.

Such a good group of boys.

Jack started as Pitcher..

Until he took a ball to the face.....
So scary!
and he was SO STRONG....he didn't want anyone to know he was hurt.
And then he dropped his head.
I wanted to run out to the mound....
but there's no Mom in Baseball...
So I let Coach take of the situation.

I LOVE Jack's Coach.  He is so energetic, so kind, so understanding.
Jack was back to new in no time.

And then he got a hit!

And Made it around the bases!

And got to play catcher.

Until he got a foot cramp...

(I have a feeling this is going to be a very loooooog season...)

But we made it around the bases again...
(Hey that third base Coach is a hottie! :)  )

Jack is the biggest kid on the team.

The first game the Kirby's were in charge of snack

I showed the other Mom's how it's done and brought Sinful Bliss.
