Saturday we headed to Calaveras State Park
it was BEAUTIFUL
Jack was not ready to leave the park.
He had so much fun.
He had so much fun.
Sunday Morning I was showered with gifts.
Jack was so excited to give me his gift. So, so cute.
Madeline on the other hand..I was given a jewelry box and bird house she painted....but after I opened it....she said... "well.....this (the jewelry box) is for Lynne for all her jewelries... and this (the bird house) is for Me."
My Daughter is awesome.
We went over to Grams to wish her a Happy Day

And bring her flowers....
For lunch we headed to the Nantucket Fish Company.
Just the four of us.
I love the ambiance at this place.
After Lunch.... Maddie was DEFINITELY ready for a nap....
so Jack-man and I went in Lynne's Hot Tub for some quality Just Mom and Jack time.
After Nap time we headed to Mimi's
for some afternoon swimming
The pool is NOT heated....
That NEVER stops my children.
The boys grilled up some dinner.
Grill master Kirby...doin what he does best.
Another year down.
Motherhood.
Quite possibly the toughest job on the planet.
Happy Day to all you Mothers out there!
Even if it's a "Hallmark" holiday...
You DESERVE a day of thanks and love for ALL you do for your family.
It may be tough, but it's SO worth it.
Here's to YOU Mom's of the world!

I recognize that creamery bottle! The one you gave me with the hot chocolate during the first favorite things party is my favorite little vase for flowers that Mason picks. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day! Maddie is hilarious. :)
Happy Mother's Day! That park looks GORGEOUS. How did I not know that existed when I lived in CA?
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! And, I feel your pain with that little girl awesomeness. :)
Such a great weekend! Love the picture of Maddie and Clay.
