Weekend in Pictures

Friday night we had a Pack meeting.

Jack earned his Bobcat badge!

This months meeting was special because the boys were allowed to wear their costumes and do fun activities....
Our Den lost the "Mummy" contest....

After the meeting we had a special treat....
Sinful Bliss cupcakes really are the best....

When we returned home.....
We had been Booed!!

MMMmmmm Hot Cocoa and Marshmallows!

I was SO excited.

It was EXACTLY what I needed after the work week I had....

And it put me in the spirit to do some "Boo-ing" myself!
Maddie was happy to be my assistant
Paddle licker.
;)

We had our packages ready....

We got very good at the Knock-and-ditch.

Sunday afternoon I had one of my favorite parties....
I love me some Pampered Chef!
(on a side note...my party closes this week....if you need some amazing kitchen stuff...I'm YOUR GIRL!)
I set out some goodies ..
(above are all my Pampered Chef party platters....)

Along with some Spirits and Fun Ladies.... We had quite the afternoon....

This being my last weekend before Halloween....

We had to squeeze in the Pumpkin Patch!
You know the rules....if you can't carry it.....You can't have it...
Jack was VERY determined....
Madeline on the other hand took the safer road...

How much have we grown this year??
(on a side note.. someone left the house without his shoes...and nobody caught it.... Socks at the patch....Classy...)

Family picture was almost impossible..
(I'll take what I can get..)

For the FIRST time EVER I let the kids carve their pumpkins.
I know, I know, I'm evil.  I just hate the mess....and after 5 minutes kids get bored.
Case in Point.  Where are the kids?  Oh! I don't know....
The Cheese stands alone.

Until the cheese is tired of cutting..and calls in the heavy artillery.

Daddy had to take time away from the game to assist....
But he didn't mind...

Because....
GIANTS WIN!!!

WOOT!!! WOOT!!!

We can't wait till Wednesday!!

With Age.....comes wisdom.....

After 15 years....

I know a few things....

I know when He's Happy.

I know when He's Sad.

When He's Excited.

When He's Mad.

I pretty much can tell every emotion this Boy has before he opens his mouth.

I can read him like a book.

I know what buttons to push, and when to stop pushing.

I know that sometimes when you say nothing, you speak volumes.

I know the joys of living by the seat of your pants.

And the comfort of being firmly planted in one place.

I know compromise.

And...

I know getting my way.

I know Naivety.

I know learning the hard way.

I know Success.

I know Failure.

I know Heartache.

I know Joy.

I know that our laughter is easier to remember than our tears.

I know birthin babies.

I know the true meaning of Mom and Dad.

I know loud music and dancing can fix most problems.

I know how to have a complete conversation across a room without saying a word.

I know Happiness beyond my wildest dreams.

I know what it's like to share all your greatest accomplishments with your Best Friend by your side.

I know 15 years passes by with a blink of an eye.

I know a love that has no limits.

I know I'm right where I'm supposed to be.

I know the Story of Us.....

from page 1...

to page to be continued.....

Happy Anniversary to the Love of my Life.

Here's to 15 More.

I love you.

Anniversary Week Kick Off!

This weekend we headed up to Inverness to celebrate our upcoming 15 years of Marriage on Friday.

15 years deserves a little R and R....

Don't you think???

So Mom and Dad came down to watch the kids....

And to Tomales Bay we went...
I never get tired of this view....

Friday night we tried a new restaurant in Point Reyes.
Clay said it was the best Pizza he has ever had...

I branched out and tried a local brew...

Saturday morning started out very lazy in bed...
Mr. Kirby brought me my "coffee" in bed to enjoy with my morning read....

No kids at 5:00am...no dog barking....

it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

We took our time getting up, and headed into town for breakfast.
There is an adorable diner in town.

It has that small town feel to it.
There were buckets of toys next to our table.
Maddie would have been in heaven.

My egg white omelet with spinach, avocado and caramelized onion was sooooo good.

After breakfast we explored the town.

First stop
My favorite....

Cow Girl Creamery...
Oh how I wish I could take every last one home...

Saturday Mornings in Point Reyes are bumpin!
We walked through the farmers market.

And the general store...

And the museum of artifacts.

Usually we have the kids and our time is limited...we either have to head back to the house for naps, or someone is having a breakdown, or we are all exhausted...

it's amazing how much energy you and your spouse have when it's just the two of you...

;)

So we decided to head up the coast ...
No set plan....

Just a drive up Highway 1.

Along the way we stopped if something looked interesting...
This little house is in Marshall.  Population 50.

It's an Antique shop.
How adorable is that?

We stopped in Bodega where the Birds was filmed.
That's me and Mr. Hitchcock.

The General Store in Bodega had all the Birds memorabilia you could want....

I opted for a snack instead.

Through all the little towns there were merchants along the roads.

I just love tiny little towns.

There were a TON of antique shops..

On the side of the road...there was a tiny store completely dedicated to Salt Water Taffy.
Every flavor on the planet.  And a HUGE bag was $1.50.

Deal!!

Down the way in Bodega Bay was this little house.
Wine tasting from all the local wineries.

They had a small deck that overlooked the bay where you could enjoy your tasting.
3 tastes for $9.
Dude.
Look how generous their pour was!

It was 80 with a cool breeze.

Perfect.
Perfect.
Perfect.

We sat back...
And relaxed....

And talked about everything grown ups talk about.....
The conversation AND wine were good to the last drop.

After our drive up the coast we headed back to relax at the cabin.
A perfect end to a perfect day.

15 years.

I can't believe it.

I love you to the moon and back.

;)
